Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Starpillow apps for iPhone and Apple Watch and to the website starpillow.app, made by Alexandr Degteari, an independent developer (“we”). By using Starpillow you agree to them.
Starpillow is not a medical device. It is a wellness app that helps you notice patterns in your sleep. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, including sleep apnea or insomnia. Its scores and hints are estimates. If you are worried about your sleep or health, talk to a doctor.
Using the app
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Starpillow on Apple devices you own or control, under the Apple Media Services Terms and the App Store’s standard licence agreement. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or misuse the app, except where the law allows it.
Paid features
If Starpillow offers paid features, they are sold through the App Store. Prices, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms; you can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
Your data
Your sleep data belongs to you and stays on your devices. How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Accuracy
Sleep stages, heart rate and snoring come from your Apple Watch, iPhone and Apple Health and may be incomplete or inaccurate. A smart alarm may wake you slightly earlier than the set time, within the window you choose. Do not rely on Starpillow as your only alarm for something important.
Liability
Starpillow is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made on the basis of the app’s estimates. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
